CSX's Canadian Division

90 Minutes  Narration

$25 CDN  -free Shipping.

Join us as we railfan CSX's Canadian Division. Shot over a 3 year period, this program is the most comprehensive look at CSX Canadian operations on video today. There is no other video like this one available today!
Video highlights include CSX grain extras from Chatham to Blenheim and SOO line SD40-2's on the CP run-thru train to Sarnia in frigid winter weather. Also featured is the Sperry Rail Services track inspection train, and railroading activity around Sarnia's “Chemical Valley”. Locations visited include Wallaceburg, Sombra, Ridgetown, Kingsville, and more. We also take a look at now abandoned CSX lines. Yard action, industrial railroading, and plenty of variety!

Four seasons railfanning action in Canada makes this video a must for any CSX fan.

* In late January 2006, just after final editing of this video production, CSX and CN entered into a haulage agreement for Sarnia CSX traffic. This changed the face of CSX operations in southern Ontario. Many of the trains featured in this program are no longer in existence.

On a beautiful autumn afternoon, 2 CSX GP38-2's along with 2 CP SD40-2's lead this CSX train through Wallaceburg, Ontario.

CSX's Canadian operations have been downsized over the years, in this video we also look at what is left of the former Subdivision #1, indicated in light blue colour.

The daily CN 434 (Windsor-Toronto) train is seen here exercising trackage rights at Chatham's CSX yard.

Led by 2 SD40-2's in SOO Line paint, the now discontinued CP run-thru train heads past our camera at South Sarnia.

Trains no longer pass through Kingsville, Ontario. Fortunately, the original train station has been saved.

The D724 Train crosses over the swingbridge at Wallaceburg. The bridge still sports original C&O markings!
